GOT THE MIDAS TAJ

- BY GARRY OWEN KEEPER CHRIS

TAJ ALRIYADH (3.05) can stretch his unbeaten run to four in the Champion TwoYear-Old Trophy at Ripon.

Kevin Ryan’s horse improved again when outbattling the talented Dynamic Force over track and trip.

The colt looks a Group-class sprinter in the making so he can strike again for his thriving connections.

MYRISTICA (2.30) looks set to extend Tim Easterby’s winning run in the Billy Nevett

Handicap. The filly looks nicely unexposed after chasing home the useful Ms Gandhi over course and distance.

KETTLE HILL (3.40) is hot stuff for William Haggas in the Ripon Rowels Handicap.

The four-year-old was just denied by Garden Oasis on his return in a competitive event at York.

The gelding should be primed so he can turn the tables on his old rival in another warm contest.

In-form MY BROTHER MIKE (4.50) should take the lucky last for John Stimpson.

NATIVE FIGHTER (2.55) looks lethal for shrewd local handler James Moffatt at Cartmel.

The hurdler ran another blinder at this venue when third behind Shetland Bus over 2m 6f.

The gelding was staying on very strongly that day so he can triumph significantly up in trip.

Moffatt can also claim the Cavendish Handicap Chase with DRESSEDFORSUCCESS (4.05). The gelding can bag a four-timer after slamming Empire De Maulde over course and distance.

Brian Ellison’s MING DYNASTY (3.30) can reign supreme in the Peter Beaumont Handicap Chase.

The gelding remains unexposed for his current trainer so he can defy a lenient 5lb penalty.

ROI DE DUBAI (4.45) could shade the Wicks Handicap Chase for John McConnell. The nine-year-old put in a career best over fences when routing Ennemi Public at Wexford. The gelding will be fit after a spin over timber at Bellewstown.

The EWGA Handicap Hurdle is even trickier but I’m siding with (5.55) to come out on top.
