CHRISTINA ON

-

HOLLYWOOD’S sexiest siren Christina Hendricks has revealed her dirtiest secret – she’s addicted to reality TV shows. The flame-haired femme fatale, who is back on our screens tomorrow in the final series of Netflix hit Good Girls, says she has terrible taste in television.

Christina, 46, who shot to fame after starring as voluptuous Joan Holloway in Mad Men, admits her viewing habits are more than a bit suspect.

The star, a former model, said: “I have a dirty habit of watching reality TV shows. All the Housewives shows, Married at First Sight... all of that stuff you can just watch, switch off and have fun watching stuff that is so far removed from what I do.”

Christina’s army of global fans have been patiently waiting for season four of Good Girls, which has been described as Breaking Bad for girls.

It follows the adventures of three suburban women, each hovering on the edge of bankruptcy, who unite to embark on a life of cack-handed crime, only to discover they are good at it.

The ensemble – Hendricks, Mae Whitman, who plays her sister, and Retta, their friend – works well and each time a plot line seems to be reaching its climax, something worse – and funnier – happens.

Christina, who was married to Madame Secretary actor Geoffrey Arend, 42, admits the show’s popularity is due to its relatability. She said: “I think it’s fun, quirky, weird and dark and because the characters are so relatable. I think we would all do anything to help our children. Yes, they’re up to no good but you watch and you can’t help be, ‘Yeah, I’d do it too’.”

The actress, who voiced the villain Gabby Gabby in Toy Story 4, plays Beth Boland in the comedy drama.

Christina, who was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, said: “Beth is your typical mid-Western mother. She’s hard working, organised and kind of on auto-pilot to the point she has lost sight of her dreams. Then she finds out her husband has been cheating on her and her world is turned upside down.

“Mae, who plays my sister, is a single mother struggling to protect her child and Retta plays my best friend who has a daughter with a serious illness. Together, these three women find themselves in a situation where they need money just to survive.

“They decide the best solution would be to rob a grocery store that just so happens to be secretly laundering
