But the star has been tipped to play on until he is 40 and become the oldest scorer in the Premier League, beating former United forward Teddy Sheringham, who scored 32 goals after he turned 36.
Another United goalscoring legend, Wayne Rooney, 35, has told how he expects to see Ronaldo on the pitch at 40.
Rooney, now the manager of Derby, said: “I can see him playing on until that age, like Ryan Giggs.”
