JACK ROSS has called for the authoritie­s to get more away fans into opposition grounds.

The Hibs gaffer feels the situation which has seen some clubs have no away fans at grounds this season needs to be addressed as it is damaging the league.

Mark Bennett, Arbroath, said: “Ross is right. I’m not trying to downplay Covid as it has caused a lot of suffering but I just see it as an excuse for various things being done now and not just in football.”

Alan Wright, Glasgow, added: “It’s a ridiculous situation. If clubs need red zones then punt some of their own fans out.”
