Premiere. Novelist Roddy Doyle addresses homelessness in Dublin in this quietly affecting drama which unfolds over 36 fraught hours. Mum Rosie (Sarah Greene) must secure temporary accommodation for her partner and their four kids. Unfortunately, local authority-funded accommodation is scarce and Rosie has limited credit on her mobile phone to make vitals calls. (2018)
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN FILM4, 9PM
This stylish romp is based on the true story of Frank Abagnale, who as a teenager swindled the US government out of thousands of dollars in a series of outlandish disguises: as a pilot, doctor, international playboy, even the assistant attorney general. Leonardo DiCaprio plays Abagnale, driven by fantasies of luring his family back together and Tom Hanks is the FBI agent on his trail. (2002)
KING OF THIEVES CHANNEL 5, 11PM
Michael Caine stars in this dramatisation of the April 2015 Hatton Garden robbery. He stars as career criminal Brian Reader (Caine). His friend Basil (Charlie Cox), claims to have insider knowledge about the the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Ltd, which holds millions of pounds in cash and uncut diamonds. Cast includes Jim Broadbent, Tom Courtenay and Michael Gambon. (2018)

In 1960s America, African-Americans are denied the chance to vote in the forthcoming election in which President Lyndon B Johnson (Tom Wilkinson) hopes to be returned to the White House. Martin Luther King Jr (David Oyelowo) heads to the community of Selma, Alabama, to lead a peaceful protest. Impassioned biopic honours memory of the leader of the US Civil Rights Movement. (2014)
THE BABADOOK BBC4, 9PM
Amelia (Essie Davis) is haunted by memories of her husband seven years after his death. Her son Samuel (Noah Wiseman) claims to see monsters in his room, including a hideously gnarled spectre called The Babadook, a character from a pop-up book. Slowly, Amelia’s mental state unravels. Deeply unsettling and impressive debut from writer-director Jennifer Kent. (2014)
