A TASTE OF VICTORY

- GARRY OWEN

YUMMYLICIOUS (3.10) looks tasty for thriving Team Gosden on another trappy card at Nottingham.

The three-year-old stayed upwardly mobile when chinned by Discretion in a strong Beverley novice.

The filly was slightly unlucky so she can take advantage of a fair mark under Benoit De La Sayette.

YAGOOD (2.40) can shade a competitive staying handicap for shrewd handler Joseph

Parr. The gelding clearly relished returning to two miles when denied by Tendentious at Doncaster. That is excellent form so the tough six-year-old can resume winning ways off an attractive mark.

DILLARCHIE (5.33) can take a tricky conditionals’ hurdle at Hexham for skilled Joanne Foster. The mare was a cracking second to the useful Johnson’s Blue on her return over track and trip. The fiveyear-old should be primed so can turn the tables on her old rival at today’s weights.

Sue Smith is flying at present so I’m backing MYBURG (6.03) in the Platinum Jubilee Chase. The gelding rates a sure-fire improver over fences after outpointing Fulgurix on debut at Sedgefield.

PALM BEACH (7.33) can coast to victory for John Dixon in the feature handicap hurdle. The five-year-old improved again when giving the exciting Super Survivor most problems at Carlisle.

PUFFIN BAY (6.47) can soar for in-form Oliver Sherwood in the Racingtv.com Hurdle at Huntingdon. The mare recorded another career best when second to the progressive Sainte Doctor at Plumpton.

The five-year-old is nicely unexposed over 2m 4f so she can go one better in another warm contest.

Oliver Greenall is hitting form so I’m on GOUET DES BRUYERES (7.17) in the handicap chase. The six-year-old shaped like his turn was near when second to the useful Gosuatri at Hereford.

GALILEO SILVER (7.47) can sparkle for Sam Thomas in the Racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle. The gelding was a fine second to Full Of Light on his return to timber at Ffos Las. The grey was staying-on strongly over 2m 4f so can continue his yard’s superb run up in trip.
