‘Engagement’ ring riddle
GEORGIA May Foote is wearing a ring on her engagement finger just weeks into her romance with Strictly dance partner Giovanni Pernice.
The ex-Corrie babe sparked rumours she is to marry the Italian hunk despite only recently breaking up with former co-star Sean Ward, 27.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star Sunday, Georgia, 24, denied they are to wed, claiming: “It isn’t an engagement ring or commitment ring. It’s just a present.”
But the beaming actress did admit the ring, which she wore at the Strictly Tour launch on Thursday, was a gift Giovanni, 25.
The whirlwind romance has been under scrutiny over claims they got together while Georgia was still with Sean, who she had been dating since May.

But now they are planning to move in together in London. She said: “We weren’t together on the show. “What is stressful is that people don’t know what has happened. It can be frustrating because people judge without knowing my life.
“All that matters is my friends know I’m happy, my family know I’m happy and Giovanni makes me happy.” The pair will spend the next month dancing together before the tour ends on Valentine’s Day.
Georgia added: “It’s perfect that we had such a great experience together on Strictly and now we get to go on tour together.”
