Joey: I will sway Brexit result STAR SAYS HIS TV SHOW HOLDS KEY

-

JOEY Essex says his documentary on the Referendum could sway the result.

The hour-long special will go out on ITV next Sunday just days before the UK decides whether to quit the EU.

Joey, 25, pictured, told the Daily Star Sunday: “I think it could make the difference.

“The show gets over a million viewers. So if 20% vote because of it that’s 200,000 people.

“People will watch it and think ‘I’ll vote this way now’. It will definitely sway people’s minds. It will make a big difference.

“I did a show before the General Election last year and I had people coming up to me in the street and tweeting me saying it had helped them.”

Joey is hoping the show will help confused Brits to understand the key issues.

He said: “It’s hard for people to know what to think. I didn’t know myself before I did this show. People don’t understand it all.

“So I’ve tried to break it down. People need to hear both sides of the story.”

Joey refuses to say how he will vote until after the show has been aired next weekend.

The documentary was filmed as part of the new series of Educating Joey Essex, which is expected TV Editor to be a ratings hit for ITV. Fans will see him quizzing Jeremy Corbyn, Nigel Farage, Ed Miliband and Boris Johnson. Joey said: “It’s hard for the public to trust politicians because they say they’ll do things and then they don’t happen. “When I met Corbyn he seemed a bit nervous. I think he thought ‘What is this guy going to say to me?’. “And I thought Farage was just such a passionate person. He’s very aggressive with his words. I guess he’s just a confident person. “I found the ‘Inies’ sounded less confident. But the ‘Outies’ were very aggressive with what they wanted to say.” Educating Joey Essex is back tonight at 8pm on ITV2 with a special on the Queen’s 90th birthday.
