EXPECT to see a lot more of former Sugababe Amelle Berrabah soon. The sexy singer joins a host of famous faces including Simon Webbe, Sinitta, Amy Childs and Strictly hunk Gleb Savchenko on this year’s Celebrity MasterChef. Amelle is also presenting new show Guess Who Is Coming To Dinner? and relaunching her solo career in the upcoming months. The gorgeous About You Now singer told me: “I’ve been hard at work in the studio and I’ve surprised myself with some of the collaborations. I’ve worked with some great names – I still can’t believe it. “The first single will be out in September with more to follow before the album is released.” Talking of cooking, Amelle added: “Heidi Range was always the one likely to cook in the ’Babes. I was so lazy but now I love it. I’m such a foodie. Not only do I love eating, I’m also a feeder.” Not that Amelle’s eating much at the moment – she’s currently fasting for Ramadan. EIGHTIES baby-faced pop hunk Rick Astley is on course to pull off the album chart shocker of the year by beating both Tom Odell and Sir Paul McCartney to this week’s No.1 spot.

Unbelievably, the Never Gonna Give You Up singer is outselling both the BRITs Critics’ Choice winner and The Beatles legend with new offering 50, despite not having a hit record in 25 years.

Industry experts believe Tom could still pip Rick to the top spot with another six days of sales to go.

But either way it’s a huge achievement for the former cheesy pop prince.

Meanwhile, Beverley Knight is another new entry with brilliant offering Soulsville currently sitting at No.6.

The Queen of UK Soul is aiming for the seventh top-20 album of her career.
