Squalor guests don’t see at TV pair’s ‘posh’ B&B

EXCLUSIVE JIMMY McCLOSKEY THESE stomach-turning snaps were taken in the kitchen at Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker’s posh B&B.

They were captured by a shocked source inside The Salutation, where rooms can cost £200 per night.

The photos show an oven encrusted with dirt and a waste disposal sink blocked with “a stew of orange filth”.

Another photo shows foul yellow water in the bottom of a fridge with what looks like a dead fly floating in it.

A bag of meat sits on a grubby shelf of another fridge, while the ice machine used to prepare guests’ drinks is covered in fungus, mould and spores.

The horrified source, who asked not to be named, said: “It is one of the most disgusting kitchens I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot.

“Places have their off days, but management sorts it out and every now and then they’ll have a deep clean.

“I’m not sure if the ice machine at The Salutation has ever been cleaned, and it’s at least three months since the oven was. Both should be done every week.

“I wouldn’t want my nan or mum going in there eating, so why should anyone else have to?”

Our source, who took the photos last month, also claimed Steph let her dachshund Gigi sit on worktops used to prepare guests’ cream teas.

He spoke as the Food Standards Agency gave the Salutation just one out of five in its food hygiene rating system – meaning “major improvemen­t” is necessary.
