RESULT! Delph: Life just Fab working with Pep

FABIAN DELPH last night admitted he’s been blown away by his new boss.

And the Manchester City midfielder, 26 (below) claims the club is buzzing under Pep Guardiola.

Delph said: “Every manager has their own methods, their own systems of play, but I believe we’ve got the best manager in the world here at City.

“Already in the first two to three weeks I’ve been so impressed with what we’ve been doing – the different systems, the intensity of training, his man-management skills – it’s been brilliant for me.

“It’s so intense - high pressing, very energetic.

“It’s been tough but it’s been very, very good.”

Delph played the second half of City’s 1-0 friendly defeat at Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

The England star, speaking on the first day of the club’s week in China, added: “It was our first game and because of that we’re trying to implement the systems we’ve been working on. “It’s not going to happen overnight but the boys are switched on and eager to impress the new manager. We’re all really enjoying our football.” City face Manchester United tomorrow in the International Champions Cup but concern over the weather in Beijing has resulted in today’s training sessions for both clubs being changed. They were due to use the Bird’s Nest Stadium but heavy rain, which has placed the match in doubt, means they will workout at the nearby Olympic Sports Centre.
