WARRIORS HAVE THE WRITE IDEA

- By JULIE STOTT

CHEEKY Wigan are trying to help fans get the day off work to watch their Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final.

Warriors have sent out a dummy letter for supporters to present to bosses to ask for time off on Friday.

Wigan play Hull at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium and the club say they realise it might be difficult to get to on a Friday evening.

The letter, supposedly from captain Sean O’Loughlin, says: “Your support is hugely important to us.

“To help you make the journey to the semi-final, I have attached a note that may (or may not) help you get on the road a little sooner!”
