really learn from the two performances so far and make sure our attitude and mentality are right.

“That is the key when you play away from home.”

Summer signing Joel Lynch is a doubt for the clash after he suffered an abdominal strain on his debut against the Robins.

Jake Bidwell, Tjaronn Chery, Sebastian Polter and Alex Smithies will return for Rangers after missing out in midweek.

Cardiff, who started with a goalless draw at Birmingham before an EFL Cup loss to Bristol Rovers, could hand a debut to Emyr Huws after he signed from Wigan.

The midfielder said: “I’m chuffed to be back in South Wales and really happy to join a big club like Cardiff.” NEW Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has dismissed Memphis Depay’s flash image and insisted he IS a player with a future under him at Old Trafford.

Dutchman Depay (below) had a disappointing first season at United, after arriving in a deal which eventually could cost the club £31million.

But Mourinho said of Depay, 22: “Of course I want him to be a part of my squad.

“Last season was last season and I don’t want to go into that too much.

“But I watched him at PSV many times and having THAT player in mind, I want to keep him.

“At the World Cup two years ago he was a very young kid. Now, I want to try everything with him.

“You can see him driving a nice car and you think, ‘This guy is not thinking about football’. But that is not the case.

“The kid thinks about football. He suffers because he is frustrated with what happened and he lost confidence. I believe in him as a good boy, a good kid, a good professional – and I don’t care what people think. “He will be back.” Mourinho, meanwhile, insisted Adnan Januzaj, 21, was still in his plans, despite being loaned to Sunderland for the season. The United boss said: “We want him back.” And the former Chelsea manager also revealed his disappointment at having to sell Paddy McNair, 21, to Sunderland. Mourinho said: “I didn’t want him to leave but he really wanted to go and make a fresh start. “The kid came here at nine or 10 years old. “And we all said here at the club that if that was what he wanted, he deserved us to help him. “But I did not want him to leave the club as I still think that he is a good player.” PAUL HETHERINGTON
