Ni-cool’s X favour
SINGER Nicole Scherzinger owes her “cool pals” Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh for her big X Factor comeback.
The former Pussycat Doll revealed that the pair had persuaded Simon Cowell to get her back on the panel – and joked show boss Simon is already regretting his decision.
She said: “Louis and Mrs O wanted me back and they had to convince Simon. The three of us are like a family so when Simon came back, he said he felt like the stepchild of the family – the one constantly left out.
“In the end we were like, ‘It’s alright, you can hang with the cool kids’.”
Nicole, 38, said of the judging panel: “We have fun and I think we have a really good chemistry and energy because we know when we can take the mickey out of each other – and we know when it’s too far. It’s just really playful.”
The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday.
