Wannabe’s 2012 boot camp ‘secret’ exposed on YouTube

-

X FACTOR producers covered up Ottavio Columbro’s previous appearance on the show.

Fans last night saw him auditioning with pal Bradley Hunt.

But viewers weren’t told he had been on the singing contest in 2012, making it to the boot camp stage. In footage from the time, which is available on YouTube, he is seen auditioning in front of Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.

A show source said: “It seems viewers are being misled. Both Nicole and Louis had seen him before but that wasn’t mentioned.”

In last night’s show Ottavio, 28, (seen far right) and Bradley were told to audition together by the judges despite their bitter feud – over raw chicken. The duo, dubbed “the gay Jedward” revealed full details of their bust-up.

Ottavio said the “soulmates” did not speak and for a month in the lead up to the audition after Bradley tried to “poison” him with raw chicken. Restaurant manager Bradley, 23, said: “I couldn’t believe he was so ungrateful. Yes the chicken was raw but at least I tried.”

Viewers watched last night as the TV judges helped to reunite the pair.

They are now tipped to make it to the live shows.

Despite the odd drunken kiss, the boys ruled out any romance. Bradley said: “We are like an old married couple without the sexual activities.”

A show spokeswoman said: “Ottavio looked very different in his 2012 audition and although Nicole did recognise him and referenced this in his 2016 audition, it did not feature in the show due to time constraints.” FORMER X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos’ latest comeback single has flopped.

The former N-Dubz star was only at No.52 last night with cover Sweet Like Chocolate.

Music industry experts predicted the single would drop out of the top 75 by Friday’s Official Chart countdown.

It is an embarrassing setback JAMES INGHAM for Tulisa, 28, who was a judge on the show in 2011 and 2012. Her debut solo single Young hit the top spot in 2012 but she has failed to land a top ten single since.

She was dropped by her record label after debut album The Female Boss peaked at number 35.
