Luke taking Pop at Mary

LUKE Evans was terrified at the prospect of beating up Mary Poppins on the set of his new film.

Worse still, the Hollywood hunk was scared of hurting her unborn baby.

Welsh actor Luke had to film fight scenes with Poppins actress Emily Blunt for the thriller, which is based on the best selling book The Girl On The Train.

Luke told me: “Emily said she was four-months pregnant just before I was supposed to throw her around a room.

“I’m not going to lie, it did fill me with fear.

“As if it wasn’t bad enough beating up Mary Poppins.”

The Girl On The Train comes out on October 5. Expect it to be a huge hit!
