SUSAN HILL HOLLYOAKS actress Jennifer Metcalfe looks hotter than ever as she bids to win Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards.
The Daily Star Sunday can exclusively reveal Jen, 32, who has played Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap for ten years, has once again made the shortlist.
The curvy brunette won last year but faces fierce competition from Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, 40, Emmerdale’s Gemma Atkinson, 31, and EastEnders’ Jacqueline Jossa.
Jacqueline, 23, who plays Lauren Branning, won the award back in 2014 just before going on maternity leave.
She made her dramatic return to the show earlier this year following the birth of daughter Ella and is “delighted” to have made the shortlist. Jacqueline said: “I am flattered to have been shortlisted for Sexiest Female – it is an honour to be up against such a bunch of gorgeous ladies.
“I am absolutely loving being back on The Square where Lauren has found a new home with the Beales.
“She is very happy with Steven and she seems to bring out the best in him, so I hope their happiness lasts.”
