KLOPP AT TOP OF BAYERN WISH LIST
TONY STENSON BAYERN MUNICH want Jurgen Klopp to be their next manager.
The Liverpool boss, 49, is now regarded by the German giants as the ideal successor to current coach Carlo Ancelotti.
That news will come as a massive blow to Anfield chiefs, who only handed Klopp a new bumper SIX-YEAR deal earlier this summer. Not that they need worry HARRY PRATT about losing their hugely popular and charismatic German leader any time soon.
Klopp (right) is loving life in Liverpool and – having assumed the reins less than 12 months ago – is in no rush to return home to the Bundesliga.
That situation suits Bayern perfectly. They are very happy with Ancelotti and expect the Italian to stay until the end of 2017-18 season at least.
But once the ex-Real Madrid and Chelsea manager, 57, does move on, Bayern will target STEVE MILLAR bringing Klopp to Munich. And, by then, the ex-Borussia Dortmund coach may find it impossible to resist the advances of his country’s biggest club. A Bayern source confirmed: “Jurgen is very highly thought of there. “He will top the list of candidates to be the next coach.”
