PSG plotting double swoop

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are plotting a potential January move for Manchester midfield outcasts Yaya Toure and Bastian Schweinste­iger.

Both players are currently out in the cold, with City and United willing to listen to knockdown offers when the transfer window opens.

Toure, 33, who picks up a reported £230,000 a week at The Etihad, was a target for the French giants during the summer.

It is understood PSG remain keen on the Ivorian and are ready to test City’s resolve with a ‘token’ £1.5million offer.

PSG have set a similar figure for Schweinste­iger, 32, who has been training with the kids at United MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Memphis Depay has been offered a way out of Old Trafford.

The Holland winger, 22, is wanted by Italian giants AC Milan, who are prepared to offer a loan escape in January ahead of a £24million summer move.

The unsettled star has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho. despite wages of £180,000 a week. The Red Devils have already put the German down as a loss in the club accounts, after bringing him in from Bayern Munich for £6.25m last summer. There has been some interest in Schweinste­iger from America but he would prefer to remain in Europe – with the right club. He will now miss the African Cup of Nations, seen as a further move by his camp to make him more attractive to potential bidders in January. Both are eligible to play in this season’s Champions League. STEVE MORGAN ATALANTA midfielder Franck Kessie is emerging as a target for Arsenal. The Ivory Coast powerhouse, 19, has scored four goals in five games this season and comparison­s between him and Yaya Toure are gathering pace. The Gunners watched Kessie against Palermo in midweek and were impressed.
