Goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil secured the win, with boss Arsene Wenger praising his side’s complete performance as he prepares to celebrate 20 years in charge of the Gunners on October 1.
Wenger (right) said: “I am very happy. We needed to change recent history. We did it with style and steel.
“I hope this convinces the players we are on the right path.”
