VARDY’S £2.5m COUNTRY PILE

-

HERE’S a sneaky peek inside hotshot striker Jamie Vardy’s new £2.5million mansion.

The eight-bed farmhouse, set in four acres of land, comes with its own stables and paddock.

And its remote location should mean Leicester City star Vardy and wife Rebekah get a break from autograph hunters who plagued them at their old home.

Pregnant Rebekah blew her top on Twitter last season after getting fed up with constant knocks at the door.

The mum of three posted: “Let’s make something clear! Anyone who wants anything LCFC related signed go to the bloody training ground, do NOT come to our house.”

Rebekah also hit out at idiots who paid visits in the middle of the night, saying: “To the little T**** that think it’s funny pressing my gate buzzer continuously scaring my kids at 12.30am shouting Jamie your on camera.

“Have some respect! There is a baby living in this house! Next time I won’t be messing!”

Estate agents have accepted an offer on the property with its indoor pool, sauna, tennis court, gym, five bathrooms and five reception rooms.

It also has two separate guest suites – ideal for when friends stay over as former Halifax and Fleetwood man Jamie says he is now too famous to enjoy a pint in the local pubs.

The stunning property is reached via a narrow lane and backs on to rolling fields in a tiny hamlet.

Estate agents’ details said: “A sensational house for buyers wanting to enjoy one of the finest houses in the region, a wonderful entertaining house with 15,000 sq ft of living accommodation.” They went PATRICK WILLIAMS on: “The accommodation is wonderfully self-indulgent, private, and flexible in its use and with entertaining in a grand and luxurious style at the heart of the design.

“Noteworthy features of the accommodation include an impressive reception hall with a stone and wrought iron spiral staircase to the first floor, a breakfast kitchen which is wellpositioned in the central part of the house complete with Aga and high-quality fitted units.

“The five reception rooms plus a study all have unique style and have dual aspects including views over a large sunny and secluded entertaining terrace.

“The pool is accessed directly from the ground floor accommodation and with access to the gardens and changing rooms, pump room and with a sauna adjacent.

“The first-floor accommodation is linked by an innovative glass glazed walkway which leads to six bedrooms and five bathrooms, with two further bedrooms located on the second floor.”

The couple currently live in a large detached house in the Leicestershire town of Melton Mowbray but have been plagued with visitors since the Foxes began their tilt for the Premier League title.

Last summer Vardy, now on a rumoured £100,000 per week, told how he was living under a self-imposed curfew because he was getting so much attention from fans.

He said: “It’s carnage. I basically can’t go out at the minute and I don’t leave my house.”
