Kim & Kan fortress plan TOTALLY BUNKERS
SHAKEN Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have gone bunkers after her terrifying Paris jewel robbery.
They are planning to spend millions of dollars on state-of-the-art underground shelters, turning their LA mansions into impregnable fortresses.
And they have commissioned blueprints for similar “luxury survival” bunkers at the nearby homes of Kim’s sisters Khloe and Kourtney and her mum Kris.
The reality couple fear another attack like the “hit” on Kim’s French hotel suite by armed raiders.
A senior source on her E! TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians said yesterday: “Kim was shaken to her core and is now obsessed by the fear that her family could be attacked at home.”
The couple already have panic rooms in their £16million Bel Air and £11.5million Hidden Hills estates in LA, but Kim, 35, is adamant they need to be ready for anything, even a long siege.
She and Kanye have told three US manufacturers to draw-up detailed plans for elaborate shelters and will decide which to have built by the end of the year.
One, the Texasbased Rising S Bunkers, already claims to have built an £8.4million, 9,000- squarefoot, 37-room underground complex for MIKE PARKER U.S. Editor an Oscar-winning client in California’s Napa Valley. It features a sauna, Jacuzzi, home theatre and even a two-lane bowling alley.
Other subterranean options include swimming pools, gyms, games rooms and greenhouses for growing food.
According to our source, Kim and Kanye have asked for staff quarters to be included so they can still be looked after while on lockdown.
Rising S Bunkers’ marketing director Brad Robertson said virtually no request is impossible to meet.
His company has even built a 12-stall underground horse shelter – linked by a tunnel to the human quarters – for another celebrity customer.
Brad said: “In most cases, these complexes accommodate families of four or five and are self-sustaining. You can pretty much put a palace underground anywhere there is room.” Another US firm, Utahbased Ultimate Bunker, has built “high-end” super-shelters for VIP clients in California and Texas.
Owner Mike Peters said fears about kidnapping and terrorism led to a rise in orders.
Police are still investigating the £9million Paris robbery.
Kim said she feared she could be raped or murdered.
