Comic stirs it with the stars

-

TELLY comic Harry Hill says he couldn’t resist mocking the guests on his new show.

The TV Burp star will cook with a different personality each week. Fans will see him let loose with Paul Hollywood, Joey Essex, Emilia Fox, Deborah Meaden and Gok Wan. Harry said: “For years I’ve taken the mickey out of them on TV Burp and suddenly I’ve got to be nice to them. Although on the show I end up taking the mickey out of them some more.

“They were all different from how I’d expected them to be. Paul is really scary on Bake Off. But he was good fun. “With Gok I found myself being almost as camp as him. And then there was Deborah who is really good fun. She was on the dog food special. She pulled some really funny faces.”

Harry regularly works on shows aimed at families. He said: “When I did TV Burp people used to say they loved having a show they could watch with their kids.”

The show is on Sky 1 tonight at 5pm. ANGELA Griffin met up with a drug user while she was researching her latest role.

Fans will see her playing Jenna in the new series, which kicks off on Tuesday.

Her life turns upside down when she takes drugs on a night out.

Angela said: “It was a subject I knew very little about. So I went on forums to find people who had done drugs. “Eventually production found somebody who had done the drug my character takes, so I basically sat down and grilled them for an hour.

“I was asking why they’d done it, what effects it had and how they were in a club situation. But it was never floated that we should try some and see what happens.”
