YORKSHIRE Ripper Peter Sutcliffe is having to wear adult nappies after wetting his bed in jail.
The Daily Star Sunday has learned prison officers had to change his cell bedding seven days in a row.
Psycho Sutcliffe, who butchered 13 women in Yorkshire in the 1970s and early 80s, blamed his incontinence on his move from Broadmoor Hospital to Frankland Prison.
The bed wetting has led to abuse from other cons and Sutcliffe rarely leaves his cell, fearful he’ll be attacked by fellow prisoners.
He had planned to convert to Islam but is understood to have changed his mind after learning that he would have to be circumcised.
The 70-year-old was recently moved from Broadmoor in Berkshire to Frankland in Co. Durham.
Inmates and prison officers believe the bed wetting incidents are part of Sutcliffe’s plan to get himself sent PATRICK WILLIAMS back to Broadmoor. One source said: “Sutcliffe will do just about anything to get out of Frankland. “He hasn’t stopped complaining since he arrived. He uses just about every excuse going to get out of doing any work. “He wants the cushy life like he had in Broadmoor, where he had some sort of twisted celebrity status. In Frankland he’s just another killer. “He is selfish, rude and thinks he should be treated differently from every other prisoner because he’s the Yorkshire Ripper.” Frankland is regarded as one of the toughest jails in Britain. It is home to other serial killers and some of the country’s most violent offenders. Sutcliffe lost his fight to remain in Broadmoor secure hospital in August after a health tribunal ruled that he no longer needs treatment for paranoid schizophrenia.
