Harriette fears telly romp backlash

- by ED GLEAVE

REALITY babe Harriette Harper wants Brits to loosen up over women having sex on TV.

The glamour model enjoyed some X-rated fun on camera while filming the new series of Ex On The Beach.

But she fears a backlash from viewers when it is shown on MTV.

Harriette said: “I think it is harder for a girl to play the field, let her hair down and have sex on TV. There are women out there so against all that. “When a guy does it he’s seen as a lad. For women it’s different.” Last year Zara Holland lost her Miss Great Britain title after romping on ITV show Love Island. But Harriette says she should have kept her crown. She said: “I guess they did it because of the title she had and because she was in a position where young girls look up to her.

“But I don’t think what they did to her was fair.” Harriette 25, was picked by MTV chiefs to spice up the new series of Ex On The Beach, which begins on Tuesday at 10pm.

She said: “It was all about sun and alcohol – I just couldn’t help it when it came to sex.

“Everyone does it on holiday. Everyone was at it. “I do regret it a little bit just because my mum and dad want to watch the series. I’ll have to make sure they don’t watch that episode.” Essex girl Harriette has dated TOWIE’s Pete Wicks in the past and she is just as loud as his current girlfriend Megan McKenna.

She added: “I can be quite fiery. When we were filming Ex On The Beach I did have quite a few rows. People were arguing all the time.

“Security had to get involved every night, sometimes in the day as well.”
