Champ Ore’s Glitterball goes AWOL MUM-IN-LAW PINCHED MY TROPHY

-

STRICTLY champion Ore Oduba says his mother-inlaw has pinched his trophy.

The TV hunk pulled off a sensational win last month but his celebration was cut short.

In an exclusive chat, Ore, 31, said: “I got to see the actual Glitterball trophy for about four minutes.

“We got the chance to have a picture with it and I held it a bit and then it was whisked away. I was given a replica to take away – and that currently resides at my in-laws’ house. “I was with them at Christmas and they prised it from my grip. I

haven’t ED GLEAVE went away to Malaysia so she had it for safe-keeping. I don’t mind too much – it is family we’re talking about.”

Ore worked around the clock to ensure his routines with pro partner Joanne Clifton were spot on.

He said he hardly saw his wife Portia because he was so busy. But they have made up for it since his win.

Ore said: “It has been wonderful. The holiday we had was really nice. It was just what she needed and deserved. At Strictly, Karen and Kevin Clifton are with each other all the time and that made me think ‘oh, OK, that’s how a husband and wife should be’.”

Ore thrilled fans when he posted a snap online showing his new rippling physique.

And he said his other half loves his ripped body too. Ore added: “She enjoys everything that Strictly brings, put it that way.”

Ore was back on the dance floor last week as Strictly’s live tour kicked off in Birmingham.

Joanne is starring in a rival production so he will be performing with fellow professional Karen Clifton.

Ore said: “The tour is the first job on the agenda for me. I’ve been concentrating on the tour. Performing for up to 20,000 people a night takes all of your focus.”
