Crystal Methodist snaps up toy boy lover

REV DEFROCKED – AND TOPLESS

-

CRYSTAL Methodist Paul Flowers has unveiled his new toy boy lover – days after being defrocked by the church.

The disgraced clergyman, 66, declared his love for nightclub DJ James Nicholson on Facebook.

The rent boy-loving former minister uploaded a topless picture of them together.

He joked: “And we do have clothes on…below the waist!!!”

Flowers posted the snap less than a week after being booted out of the Methodist church for his drug-fuelled male escort sex sessions.

The ex-Rev wrote: “Happy to announce James David Rex Lothian Nicholson and I are now in a very happy and fulfilling relationship! Cat that got the cream!”

St Helens-born James, in his 30s, is known on the club circuit as N-Tyce. He was married to another older man but the relationship failed before he met Flowers, who now lives in Salford.

Last night a former parishioner said: “It just shows you the measure of the man – using such a questionable picture to reveal his new man.

“He’s meant to be a man of God – or was – but he’s shown PETER CHESTER scant regard for the church or his flock over the last few years.”

The ex-Co-op boss was dismissed as a minister three years after being convicted of possessing cocaine, crystal meth and ketamine.

He did not exercise his right to appeal. He can no longer use the title “reverend” or lead services.

The church said: “Following the conclusion of our disciplinary process, Paul Flowers has been removed from the list of ministers of the Methodist church.

“Mr Flowers admitted a charge of ‘seriously impairing the mission, witness or integrity of the church’.”

Flowers was suspended in 2013 after being filmed counting out £300 to buy the drugs.

Days earlier he had left his £132,000-a-year job at the Co-op Bank after a £1.5billion black hole was discovered in its finances.

Flowers was in charge of two churches in Bradford, West Yorks, before the scandals broke. Following his drugs conviction, he admitted he had “sinned”.

And in an interview last year he said he had repeatedly used male escorts for “comfort and solace”.
