Schools in food failure
CHILDREN are developing eating disorders after being bombarded with healthy food messages at school.
Clinical psychologist Tara Porter explained how a London eating disorders clinic where she worked saw a rise in pre-teen girl patients after the healthy eating campaign started.
She said: “Foods were suddenly good or bad. This approach, which schools brought in, has flaws. Those working in education need to recognise them.”
