HE’S the most decorated BRITs winner of all time but Robbie Williams says he’s the first to admit he doesn’t deserve to be.

The Robster will perform at Wednesday’s ceremony after joining David Bowie and Sir Elton John as the only winners of the BRITs Icon Award.

But despite banking 18 BRIT gongs from his solo and Take That career, the pop king said: “Winning awards triggers something in me that makes me say, ‘I don’t deserve this’.

“I can never put away my lack of self worth.

“My lack of self worth comes shining through when I win an award.

“I am faced with this brick wall of, ‘You don’t deserve this’.”

Robbie’s phobia of gongs is so bad he reckons bagging three BRITs back in 1999 was one of the worst days of his life.
