CHRIS SMALLING would love dressing room joker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay beyond this summer – and have a laugh winning even more major honours. Ibrahimovic, 35, has won 28 trophies in four countries during his illustrious career and Smalling and his team-mates would lead the applause if he picks up another handful in his Manchester United stay under boss Jose Mourinho. “He’s the best at what he does. I don’t think there are many players who can tick all the boxes he does.

“I’m lucky I don’t have to play against him in a game.”
