No rival switch for Joe

- From Back Page

England No.1 is believed to favour a return back home, despite him impressing during his season-long loan with Serie A outift Torino.

Hart, 29, has been linked with transfers to Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea since being cast aside by City boss Pep Guardiola but Etihad supremos have decided that those moves are non-starters.

City do want to do right by Hart and find him a suitable club but any sale to a direct domestic rival is not on the table.

Hart is unable to call the shots on where he wants to go as he still has two years remaining on his £130,000-a-week contract.

The keeper has done consistently well at Torino and the Italian side believe they can agree a cut-price £15million deal, although other big clubs on the continent are also aware of the circumstances surrounding Hart’s future. And while he would love to get another chance at City, there is no way Guardiola (left) will put up with that idea after signing Claudio Bravo from Barcelona last summer.
