Five-time Naps Table champ Moorestyle’s best bets…

-

Dream Berry at 9-2 headed our list of winners last week alongside Midnight Silver (6-4), while Hot To Trot identified Dandelion at 7-2, a winner at Wolves on Friday.

SUNDAY SERVICE Colin Tizzard (below) regularly sends an above average set of bumper horses to Fontwell and he can enhance his record at the track when GOLDEN SUNRISE (nap) takes in the finale at 5.00.

The great Cue Card started his illustrious career at the West Sussex track when hosing up on his debut to the tune of six lengths.

And if the nap is a 10th as good as the now 11-year-old, then he should be up to winning this. He is certainly bred to make his mark at this game.

The big race of the day is the National Spirit Hurdle (3.00) and reverting back to hurdles, DIFFERENT GRAVEY can make it six wins from nine starts under rules.

Nicky Henderson told me last week: “He just didn’t seem to be himself over fences this year but in the last week or so he has come to himself and the National Spirit looks an obvious target.”

Later on, THIRD ACT has the talent to defy top weight in the 4.30, while the best bet at Southwell could be SAM RED in the staying handicap hurdle at 4.10.

Over at Naas, JUST CAMERON can make the most of the weight he receives from Clarcam in the 4.30 and ANY SECOND NOW should retain his unbeaten record in the feature grade two novice hurdle at 3.50.

THE WEEK AHEAD I have been waiting for KAFEEL to run again since his eye-catching outing at Wolverhampton five weeks ago and he should be noted if turning out under top weight in the Lingfield 4.30 on Tuesday. ANTE-POST A very interesting entry on the Tuesday at the Cheltenham Festival is VALUE AT RISK in the Close Brothers Novice Handicap Chase, which ends the card at 5.30. Remember when he traded at odds-on coming down the hill in the Albert Bartlett in 2015? Well connections now feel two-and-a-half miles is his trip and he is rated 7lb lower over fences, so grab the top priced 25-1 each-way.

HOT TO TROT I thought Jamie Spencer gave STEELRIVER an appalling ride at Kempton last week. He must have thought he was on Frankel giving the leaders an eight-length start. He is handicapped to win when given a better ride.
