Love split Mel will B in spotlight
MEL B will make her first public appearance tomorrow since filing for divorce.
Mel, 41, could face a quiz over her private life at the media launch for US reality show America’s Got Talent.
The former Scary Spice will be returning to the US after attending her dad’s funeral in Leeds. NBC media chiefs confirmed Mel will be at Monday’s high-profile event and meet reporters. But insiders say executive producer Simon Cowell, 57, will give Mel the chance to just pose for photos and shy away from interviews at the show launch in Pasadena, California.
Mel filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years Stephen Belafonte in Los Angeles last week. One production insider said: “In the past she has been the life and soul of the launches. None of us have been told what she will do.
“Not only does she have the marriage to deal with, but she is fresh from her dad’s funeral.”
