‘Elin’s not my birdie’

ED GLEAVE TV Editor TELLY coach Gavin Rossdale has insisted he’s not bedding the ex-wife of love-rat golfer Tiger Woods.

Reports claimed he was dating Elin Nordegren after being introduced by a mutual friend.

Earlier this month Gavin, 51, admitted he had been texting the sexy Swede but he told the Daily Star Sunday he’s still single.

The Voice coach branded the claims “stupid” and added: “She is just a mutual friend. People have said ‘You two should meet’ so I texted her a couple of times and I spoke to her on the phone. She is a great girl who lives in Florida with a full-time job and two kids. And that’s it.

“She is beautiful but I am not saying ‘It is a shame you don’t live near me’. Bearing in mind I have not met her, it is a bit forward to think we are a ‘go’.”

Gavin and No Doubt star Gwen Stefani split in 2015 after 13 years of marriage.
