Eliaquim’s a wanted Man now
VALENCIA want to make Eliaquim Mangala’s loan move from Manchester City a permanent deal at £12million.
The Spanish club are claiming they cannot afford to pay more than that AND match centre-back Mangala’s City wages of £110k a week.
But City are likely to hold out for £16m for the France international, 26.
They paid £32m for Mangala from Porto three years ago but he is not in the plans of Blues boss Pep Guardiola.
Meanwhile, another City player on the way out – midfielder Yaya Toure, 33 – is attracting interest from clubs in Italy but he will have to take a hit on his City wages which can reach £230k a week.
The Milan clubs – Inter and AC – are both interested in a deal at £100k a week.
Another of Toure’s former clubs Monaco are also in the frame, along with Turkish giants Galatasaray.
