Super Ste digs deep
STEVE SMITH’S 20th Test century held Australia together after India debutant Kuldeep Yadav triggered a collapse on the first day of the fourth and final match in Dharmasala.
Skipper Smith struck 111 – his third hundred of the series and seventh against India – as his side were bowled out for 300 after winning the toss.
David Warner and Matthew Wade both made half-centuries.
Left-arm spinner Kuldeep, replacing injured captain Virat Kohli, took 4-68 as Australia lost five wickets for 64. The series is tied at 1-1.
