Will Em lose her Voice?

-

HOST Emma Willis is terrified ITV bosses will pull the plug on tonight’s live final of The Voice,

She’s worried the show will over-run as millions of viewers wait to see this year’s winner crowned.

Coach will.i.am threw an episode into chaos earlier in the series when he agonised over which act to save. Emma said: “I’ll s*** myself when the final is about to start. Totally. I get nervous before I do a live show.

“Will nearly knocked us off air the other week. I was saying to him ‘please give us an answer!’. And there’s always a lot going on.

“People are singing, things are happening everywhere.”

Fellow TV presenter James Corden suffered a telly disaster at the BRITs in 2012 when he was forced to cut Adele’s acceptance speech short to avoid the show over-running. Emma, 41, said: “Nobody wants that moment to happen to them. So I do get nervous. But I think that’s good because it keeps me on my toes.

“I never want to get complacent and think it’s just going to be a walk in the park.”

Emma replaced Holly Willoughby as host on The Voice in 2014 and she has now presented four series. The mum-of-three is popular with viewers but she still fears she might not be kept on next year.

She said: “I haven’t been asked yet but I’d love to come back next year. But they might not ask me.

“You can never be complacent.”

Emma also fronts Big Brother and earlier this year was selected to host the BRITs. However, she has revealed Channel 4 producers did not approach her to be on the new-look Bake Off.

Emma said: “I never got asked. But oh Lord, you wouldn’t want to go there, would you?

“It’s so good that you have to have the right people. And I would not have been the right person for that.”
