LUCY Fallon has signed a new deal to stay with the soap as her tale takes another harrowing twist.

Lucy, 21, joined the cast two years ago as Bethany Platt who is being groomed by evil Nathan Curtis in the show.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star Sunday about her future, Lucy said: “I signed a new contract back in January, which is just crazy as the last two years have gone so quickly.

“I was so happy they wanted me to stay and have no plans to leave at all. I really couldn’t be happier here.

“There’s still a long way to go with Bethany’s story and it really is an honour to have been given such an important one to tell.”

Beth lost her virginity to twisted Nathan and has no idea her “boyfriend” plans to exploit her as part of a sex ring.

This week the teenager is heartbroken when she discovers that Nathan has got a past with his assistant Mel after he suggests they film a new beauty video, inset right.

Bethany logs on to Mel’s laptop and finds a picture of the pair kissing.

She then confronts Nathan before fleeing his salon in tears.

Bethany later tells her mum Sarah their relation- ship might well be over. A Corrie source added: “Bethany has no idea what is going on around her. “Mel has also been groomed by Nathan and when she discovers the picture of them kissing it looks like his sinister plan is over. “Nathan is furious with Mel and will do everything he can to win back Bethany.” Viewers will be able to watch the moment Bethany discovers the snap of Nathan and Mel this Friday.
