IT’S game, set and match for George and Amal Clooney.
The expectant parents have had an all-weather tennis court built at their £20million home in Sonningon-Thames, Oxon.
Our exclusive photos show the court at the riverside property, yards away from a stunning swimming pool.
Last week George, 56, was heard playing tennis against an automatic ball machine at the secluded property. Sporty Amal, 39, is set to join him on court once she gives birth.
One Sonning resident said: “George JIMMY McCLOSKEY and Amal are spending a lot of time here at the minute but tend to keep themselves to themselves.
“They’re so charming when they do venture out, and we love having them here in Sonning.
“There’s definitely been an increase in the number of visitors to the village since they moved in.
“We’re very excited by the prospect of them starting a family here too.”
The couple have also installed a new industrial kitchen next to the tennis court. Amal, a high-flying human rights lawyer, is due to give birth next month.
There has been speculation she is carrying twins.
Amal is aiming to give her offspring the best possible start by following a healthy diet.
A friend said: “George and Amal are very keen to do the best for their first baby – or babies.
“They have hired a dietician who has designed a unique menu with lots of kale, spinach, salads, eggs and cheeses to offer a well-balanced diet.
“Amal is having cravings for coffee, and can’t get enough of the smell of freshly ground beans. She’s very healthconscious, and will no doubt enjoy hitting the tennis court after giving birth to lose any baby weight.”
US actor George and British-Lebanese Amal wed in 2014.
They bought their nine-bed British home for a reported £7.5m later that year and are said to have spent a further £12.5m on improvements, including a nanny’s quarters.
Large-scale building work at the property angered some locals, but last month it was revealed the Clooneys had paid for neighbours to stay in a posh hotel to escape the noise.
