MOTIVATED: Watson ANTHONY WATSON has issued a pre-tour warning to the All Blacks as he and the rest of the Lions prepare for the toughest test of their lives.

The England star claims Warren Gatland’s men can cope with anything New Zealand throw at them in the three-Test series.

Bath full-back Watson is relishing the chance to face the world champions in their own backyard GARY FITZGERALD and cannot wait to get on the plane in eight days’ time.

He said: “I have a good idea of what to expect as my first England tour was over there three years ago. I played in the midweek game against Crusaders and it was a really mixed reaction from their fans.

“In some areas they were cheering for you, which was a bit strange, in others they were telling you how much you were going to get battered.

“That stuff doesn’t bother me. You cannot let it get to you and just try to control what you can.

“You know it is a rugby country when you turn on the TV and there is an Under-18s game on!
