AUSSIE Test spinner Nathan Lyon claimed his first wicket in the County Championship but it was another frustrating day for Derbyshire and Worcestershire in the Division Two match.

The off-spinner removed Derbyshire’s Alex Hughes for 53 before a storm forced play to be abandoned.

Luis Reece made 54 and Hughes 53 as the hosts moved to 200-6.

Rain washed out the first day of the match between Leicestershire and Kent and only 47.3 overs were possible yesterday,

Paul Horton and Harry Dearden compiled an opening partnership of 58.

Horton fell lbw for 48 and Dearden was bowled by Matt Coles for 38 as Leicestershire closed on 129-2.
