MONSTER IN A MANSION Paedophile George off to cushy open nick

-

SEX beast Vanessa George is to be moved to a cushy open prison in a former stately home.

The paedophile could soon be serving the public in its farm shop and working in the jail’s piggery.

She is currently in top-security Bronzefield jail and had hoped to be freed when she ended her minimum seven-year term in December.

But a Parole Board panel decided the mum of two is still a danger to the public. They recommended she go to an open jail and she will not be considered for release again until at least 2019.

George will now be sent to relaxed East Sutton Park in Kent while she is prepared for freedom.

It houses fewer than 100 women and is in a Grade II listed Jacobean mansion set in 84 acres of grounds.

Inmates grow fruit, vegetables and flowers and rear livestock. Produce and meat is sold in the prison’s farm shop.

Lags are also allowed to visit farmers’ markets in the Home Counties.

Bronzefield in Middlesex sends around 80 inmates a year to East Sutton Park in readiness for their release.

Ministry of Justice information about the jail revealed: “The farm has rare breed pigs, sheep, beef cattle and 17 livery horses. “There is also a profitable farm shop. In addition to working in the prison-based shop, the team attends local farmers’ markets in the surrounding area where they also sell the flowers, vegetables and home-grown pork and lamb, as well as the highlyacclaimed range of sausages that are prepared at the prison.” Inmates can gain

Grade II listed East Sutton Park prison in Kent JOE HINTON qualifications in catering, gardening and animal husbandry.

A recent report by prison visiting group the Independent Monitoring Board said: “The tasks range from working in the house, to keeping the extensive grounds in excellent condition, to working in the market garden producing vegetables and flowers for the local farmers’ markets and the farm shop and to caring for a range of animals including horses, pigs, cows and hens.

“For many women, the outside environment is not one to which they are accustomed. From discussions with both staff and women, it is clear that many find the environment therapeutic, allowing them time and space to work through problems and plan for the future.”

George, 47, was among at least five members of a nationwide paedophile gang linked to the Little Teds nursery in Plymouth. She worked at the nursery and was jailed for abusing toddlers and photographing assaults for fellow paedos.

Privately-run Little Teds was closed in June 2009 when George was arrested and police began an inquiry into the abuse, which started in late 2008.

She sent vile pictures to IT consultant Colin Blanchard, 46, with whom she had an online relationship.

Blanchard, from Rochdale, Lancs, admitted 17 offences relating to indecent images of children and two sexual assaults on children. He was jailed indefinitely.
