Readers why you should vote for them in Thursday’s big poll Only I can get Brexit right & cut immigration

-

IN the week, I went along to the BBC and took part in a debate with the other party leaders.

Except that someone was missing. Theresa May.

I don’t know what she was doing – Britain’s Got Talent was on the other side so maybe she shut the curtains and hoped it would all just go away.

Whatever she did it was a shocking way to treat the British public. She called the election but it’s become obvious she doesn’t really want to take part in it.

Not many people have the luxury of being so relaxed about whether they turn up for work. But that’s the Conservatives all over.

The people they look after are the very few at the top.

They’re the ones who ask you to work harder for less pay while they laugh all the way to the bank.

The ones who hide their A YEAR ago people voted in the EU referendum for a brighter future for our country.

And on Thursday voters have the chance to secure that brighter future by voting for the Conservatives.

The alternative is Jeremy Corbyn, propped up by a coalition of chaos including the Lib Dems and the SNP.

If you vote for me and my team, we can fulfil the promise of Brexit together and build a Britain that is stronger, fairer and even more prosperous than it is today.

Brexit is this generation’s chance to start an exciting new chapter in our country’s story. I want to get the best deal from Brexit so we can control our borders and make sure immigration falls. We will use a good deal to help businesses create more and better-paid jobs.

Getting Brexit right is key to my vision of creating a country that works for everyone.

When I became Prime Minister, I promised that I would be driven by the interests of THERESA MAY ordinary working families and not for the benefit of the privileged few. That is at the heart of my Conservative manifesto.

It’s a manifesto for people across the country who own their own home but worry about paying the mortgage; people who can just about manage but worry about the cost of living and getting their children into a good school.

It is a manifesto that pledges to cut the cost of living for ordinary working families and keep taxes low. But all this is only possible if we secure that good deal from Brussels.

The Brexit negotiations will start just 11 days after the election, so whoever is Prime Minister needs to be up to the job of deciding Britain’s future.

I have a clear and ambitious plan for Brexit. One that will mean a new deep and special partnership between a success- ful EU and a successful UK. But Jeremy Corbyn has shown he doesn’t have a plan for Brexit. He’s said that he will accept literally any deal that Brussels offers and he won’t say that immigration should come down. It would take the loss of just six seats for the Conservative government to lose its majority. And that would deliver the chaos of a hung parliament. It would mean Jeremy Corbyn imposed as PM propped up by the SNP and Lib Dems, who want to frustrate Brexit and push up taxes. There is no safe way to vote Labour, wherever you live. And a vote for any other party is a vote for Corbyn too. But if you put your trust in me, I will work to make a success of Brexit and build a Britain our children and grandchildren are proud to call home. If you put your trust in me I will strive to be a leader worthy of our great country. And together we will build a stronger, fairer, more prosperous country.
