PRINCE Harry is whisking girlfriend Meghan Markle away on a luxury safari.

And a royal insider says he might pop the question on the romantic trip to South Africa.

Harry, 32, was previously reported to be planning the holiday for October, but our mole insists it will happen much sooner.

Sources say he may propose to Suits star Meghan, 35, as his older brother Prince William did with Kate on a similar trip to Kenya in 2010.

Our insider said: “Africa means everything to Harry.

“It is where he and William were taken by their father to escape after their mother’s death.

“He feels himself there, and it was the South African jewellery he gave to Meghan that first gave their relationship away. Prince William proposed to Kate there.

“Harry is so smitten with Meghan that there’s a fair chance he could get caught up in the romance of it all and pop the question.”

The couple are set to stay with his friends there, before going on safari.

Former Army officer Harry FELICITY CROSS is said to be a devotee of South African mysticism and the desire for good “ju ju” or karma, with the Prince telling friends Meghan has helped him find it.

Our mole explained: “Harry has strong tribal beliefs. “He carries their beliefs with him in his heart. “They are what helped Harry heal from the pain of losing his mother and even under fire in active duty on the front line “Harry said his faith in his ju ju kept him strong – knowing that his mother was never far away.

“He really feels he has found a soulmate in Meghan, and both have even said they would love to live on and run a wildlife safari reserve.”

Divorcee Mehgan began dating Harry last summer, with the couple’s relationship revealed to the world in November 2016.

Last month they attended his sister-in-law Pippa Matthews’ wedding celebrations. PRINCE George has a new pet hamster to help him learn how to care for others.

Kate and William think Henry the hamster will help the cheeky tot, who stole the show at his aunt Pippa Matthews’s wedding with his antics, to understand holding responsibility. A source said: “Kate is keen that the children grow up with animals, much the same as Diana did with her boys. “They may even end up with their own smallholding, with some chickens and pigs.

“The plan with Henry is he’ll help George understand putting something else first, a little like the royal role of responsibility that will one day be bestowed on him.” Henry’s cage was set up in George’s bedroom but the critter has been banished to the play room for making too much noise at night.
