TROLLED ABBIE IS FAB FOR CAMERA

Babe defies bullies with photo shoot

- EXCLUSIVE by ED GLEAVE

GEORDIE Shore newbie Abbie Holborn has had the last laugh after months of bullying about her looks.

The 19-year-old was targeted by trolls when she joined the MTV series this year.

But now she is feeling sexier than ever after posing for her first shoot exclusively for the Daily Star Sunday.

Stockton-on-Tees lass Abbie said: “When I first went into the house I had a dark tan with blonde hair and it didn’t mesh well together. I got a lot of grief about that online.

“They also said a lot of stuff about my make-up.

“I was putting on 10 layers of foundation and three pairs of eyelashes. When I watched myself back on TV I did think ‘that doesn’t look the best’.

“But as time goes on I’ve changed my look and experimented with things. I’m learning what looks right and what doesn’t.

“I would never stop with the tan. I’ve got brown hair now, so it doesn’t look as bad. And I’m doing my first photoshoot, which is so exciting.”

Abbie has only been in the spotlight for a few months but she has already learned how to beat the trolls.

She said: “I don’t reply to them. I don’t give them the satisfaction. I haven’t got the time for that.

“And anyway, as time has gone on people have seen more of my personality.

“I get a lot of nice tweets now as well. People say I’m funny and girls say they can relate to me. That makes it all worthwhile.”

Geordie Shore chiefs sent in a raft of wannabe cast members this series to shake things up, before announcing just one of them would be joining for good.

In Tuesday’s episode fans will see Abbie finding out that she has been picked to stay on.

She said: “It was the most amazing feeling to know they liked me as a person and wanted me to live with them.

“I think they picked me because I’m very laid back. Obviously, I do have an opinion and I will say it but I’m still a very relaxed person.”

Abbie took to the Geordie Shore lifestyle like a duck to water.

She added: “I go out drinking on a weekly basis anyway. So I found it quite easy. I think I’ve adapted to it well.

“After the first day you forget the cameras are there. It just felt like I was with my mates.

“I do enjoy it. It just comes naturally.

“I don’t think about it too much. I just go with the flow.”
