LOVE Island host Caroline Flack hates being pitted against Big Brother.
The telly babe, below, has admitted she’s a big fan of the rival show.
ITV bosses waged war on Channel 5’s BB when they revived Love Island two years ago by also showing it in the summer months.
This year’s series even launched on the same night and in the same slot, putting the shows in direct competition.
But Caroline, below, doesn’t like them being rivals and is pals with BB hosts Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I love Emma and I love Rylan. We all get on really well. I saw Emma last week and it’s always great to catch up. We make two really fun shows that shouldn’t be put against each other. “I don’t think anything about Love Island ED GLEAVE makes it better TV than Big Brother. I think they’re both equally as good as each other.”
But she added: “I won’t be able to watch Big Brother this year because I’m too busy. I have to watch Love Island every night to make notes and then get ready for the live show on Sunday.”
Love Island has been winning the ratings war so far, as fans tune in to see babes and hunks getting steamy in the sunshine.
Last Sunday, it had 1.4million viewers compared to just a million viewers for Big Brother.
And by Tuesday, Love Island was pulling in double the number of viewers after it emerged two couples had enjoyed sex in the villa.
Love Island and Big Brother will go out in the same slot tonight and then again on Thursday.
The ratings for Love Island are up a huge 71% on last year’s series, according to new figures.
Things are set to get even raunchier in tonight’s show when a game of truth or dare turns sexy.

Phil’s life as a local authority boss is a world away from his daughter’s antics on Love Island. Within days of the series starting Jess, left, had sex with Dominic Lever, 26.

And it looks like she might be heading for a second romance with newcomer Mike Thalassitis. On Friday’s show she hinted she might dump Dom because Mike, 24, is her type.
A sex tape featuring Jess, 23, and an ex-lover has also leaked online since she became a reality star earlier this month. Fans have seen her performing a sex act in the footage which is on adult sites.
Glamour model Jess lives with doting dad Phil in the village of Ideford.
Her family reportedly hoped she would behave while living in the Love Island villa.
A source close to Jess said: “She’s been having a lot of fun. “You’d never guess her dad has such a high powered and important job.”
