A WAR amputee got a lifeline, thanks to TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh.

Marine Mark Ormrod lost three limbs when he stepped on an explosive device in Afghanistan.

Alan said Mark often moves around on his stumps at home because his artificial limbs are painful. But if he does it on holiday people point and stare, which upsets his kids.

“So we did him a garden that kind of brought the holiday to him,” said Alan.
