Phil mum winging it
PHILLIP Schofield’s 80-year-old mother completed a wing walk – making her the oldest woman in the UK to do a loop-the-loop.
Video footage posted to the TV presenter’s social media shows mum Pat strapped to the top of the yellow biplane while it completes the airborne stunt. The daredevil pensioner undertook the charity wing walk to raise money for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
She intended to raise £1,000 but in the end more than doubled her target. After watching the video, shocked This Morning host Phillip posted on Facebook: “Literally can’t believe my eyes.
“It would appear that she’s the oldest woman in the UK to loop the loop, #AccidentalRecord, so proud of my mum.”
