Names in dance music? Then hit Ibiza…

A 4,000-capacity cruise liner, four days, six arenas and 90 acts – The Ark is the luxury party boat to board this summer.

Billed as the world’s biggest dance music cruise, the ship will start its maiden voyage from Barcelona – dropping in at Marseille and Ibiza – and will feature an array of global acts and dance brands.

Headliners include Belgian brothers 2manydjs, Cocoon label head Sven Väth, Studio Barnhus frontman Axel Boman, Radio 1’s B.Traits, CLR techno chief Chris Liebing, French house pioneers Cassius and Hot Creations partner Richy Ahmed.

DJs Masters At Work, KiNK (live), Roger Sanchez, Martin Solveig, Stephan Bodzin (live), Dennis Ferrer, Gerd Janson and Peggy Gou will also be leading proceeding­s over the three-night Med cruise, so there’s plenty to look forward to.

On top of this, stages and brands include Pacha, New York’s Strictly Rhythm, carnival collective Elrow, London clubbing institutio­n Ministry of Sound and Barcelona’s worldwide event crew FACT.

Don’t miss the special sunrise session on the front deck with Robag Wruhme and Axel Boman, two artists known for their delicate and soothing sounds – the ideal soundtrack for docking in Ibiza.

The voyage is aimed at serious style fans and music devotees, and while on board Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas you’ll get the chance to dine in Michelin-starred restaurant­s and enjoy yoga sessions, massages and luxury shopping.

There will also be stand-up comedy shows, surfing on the Flowrider, parties and karaoke, as well as a climbing wall, fitness sessions, a basketball tournament and movies.
