Jorgie’s ready to take Hollywood by storm

JORGIE Porter is on the verge of cracking Hollywood. The ex-Hollyoaks actress, 29, moved to Los Angeles in a bid to make it in the US. She even bagged her own management team across the pond to give her the best chance of success. In recent months she has tried out for a string of high-profile acting roles. And we can reveal she has gone down a storm with casting directors. A source close to Jorgie said: “She’s been working really hard to make a good impression and show what she can do. “Jorgie is determined to do well in the States. She’s been to a lot of auditions and really put the hours in.” Jorgie earned her stripes on British TV by becoming one of the best-known babes on the box. For eight years she thrilled viewers as Theresa McQueen on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

And last year she was seen by millions in a remake of classic comedy Are You Being Served?

Jorgie has also been a hit with the public on reality shows I’m A Celebrity and Celebs Go Dating.

Our source added: “Jorgie has a lot of experience under her belt. She’s hoping that will help her make it in America. “Quite a few former Hollyoaks stars have done well there like Ricky Whittle and Nathalie Emmanuel. Jorgie is hoping she’ll be next.”

However, it’s not been all work and no play for Jorgie – she’s also been shooting her 2018 calendar.
